It was 2009 when Andrea first asked me to take Portraits of her new little baby boy. I was still working in childcare and doing some small photography jobs on the side in people’s homes, or in my own loungeroom. Over the years I have watched both her and her little man grow and change, and as I look back on all these beautiful memories, I see how much I have grown and changed too.
Capturing Portraits of Andrea and her little, not so little man now, was so important to Andrea and she made sure that she returned regularly to document their life together and see just how much Master C had grown. (We all know that kids don’t stay small for long, lol).

It was important to Andrea to always be in the Portrait with her little man!
Each Year, Andrea asked me to capture a full body Portrait of Master C, so we could see just how tall he was getting. She tells me I will need to bring my ladder for our next session as he is now a “Giant”, lol
I began outdoor Sessions and there was no turning back. We all loved them!

Mr C asked his mum why they had to have family Portraits all the time (AKA, once a year), and she told him....
Several years ago, when she went looking for photos of her dad and photos of her dad and her together, she struggled to find them, came up with almost none. It was then that she vowed she would never let that happen to her kiddo. She would always show up in the photo and he would always have a beautiful memory of them together as he grew up.
