My Story

Hey there,

I am Julie Hedges and I am the owner and photographer at Three Hearts Photography!

It’s pretty simple really, I LOVE taking photos! And I want to ensure that as many families as possible have a photo of their family hanging in their home.

Every time I pick up my camera, I feel a buzz of excitement. It’s not just about taking a photo, but about what can be captured in that moment. If you think about, we can’t ever repeat a moment. We can try to recreate it, but once that moment is gone, it’s gone forever…. unless we have a photo of it. That is where I come in with my camera!

I have loved photography since I was just 14 years old and spent the last 27+ years working in Studios and in my own business. I have worked with families, children, adults, glamour, pets and more. But it is families and children that are my favourite people to photograph.

I believe that I was always destined to work with Children and that I have a genuine rapport with them that helps them to warm up to me quickly, assisting me to get the best out of them for their photos.

I would love to photograph your child/children, to provide you with magical memories that will last a lifetime.

Family

Family has always been very important to me and even more so since having my own family. I understand that your family is important to you and your children are a big part of that. They are special, unique and very important to you, so I want them to feel just as special when they come to have their photo taken with me.

I want to capture them in a relaxed and natural way and ensure they have a little bit of fun as well.

PATIENCE

When working with Children, you always need a level of patience that you sometimes struggle with as a parent. I believe that my experience working with children has enabled me to develop patience and to also understand the varied skills, abilities and personalities of children. Each child is treated individually and given the time they need to feel comfortable with me and with the environment they are being photographed in.

I believe that part of conducting yourself in a professional manner is being honest, genuine, trustworthy, friendly, open and a good listener. Three Hearts Photography is a Professional Photography Business and encompasses all these things and more.
