Your Family Portrait Experience
Preparing for your Session
Three Hearts Photography offers you and your Family a Portrait Session on Location, In our Lyndhurst Studio or At Your Home. You choose the style of session you love the most and which style would suit your family best. If you need some help then you can watch our short video on Choosing Your Style which shows you each style of Portrait Session and what type of Session is best at these locations, or simply give me a call and have a chat about which style would suit your family.
Once you decide that you are ready to have your Portraits taken, we book in your Planning Appointment which can be held in our Lyndhurst Studio or via Zoom. The Planning Appointment is a chance for me to learn more about you and your family and what you would like in your Portraits as well as prepare you with What to wear, location for your session and all the details in-between.
During your Planning Appointment, we will chat about how you want to display your Portraits and I will show you some of the gorgeous products and Collections we have available. Take some time to look at our Portrait Collections and Wall Art on our website to help you decide what you would like for your family home. I will be able to answer any questions you may have about your Portrait Session during your Planning Appointment.
Now it’s time for your Session!
Your Portrait Session is fun, relaxed and full of laughs. I want you to feel like it’s just another fun day out with your family, doing all the things you love to do together.
When you arrive for your Portrait Session you will be greeted by your smiling photographer. That’s me, Julie. After I introduce myself to you and your family, we will spend some time chatting, which helps your children to feel a little more comfortable with me. We will start your session with a couple of relaxed Portraits where you are looking at the camera. These are the ones that the Grandparents LOVE and they will be asking you for them for sure.
When we have the Grandparent Portraits, it’s time to have a little fun and play with your kids. We take a walk in the park, walk across the bridges and around the lake, feed the ducks, play games like hide and seek, tag or stacks on dad. Maybe you brought along your favourite book for Mum to read to the kids, a scooter to ride at the skate park, a tea set to have a picnic, or you just want to lay in the grass and look at the clouds. Whatever you love to do with your family, we will capture these moments in your Family Portrait Session.
When we are done laughing and full of giggles and fun, then it’s time for the kids to have a play at the playground, run off to the backyard or just relax.
We offer you and your family a small treat and water bottles to rehydrate after your session. Please advise us at your Pre-Session call of any dietary restrictions you or your family members may have.*

Your Design Appointment is held the week following your Portrait Session and your Portraits will be available 3-5 weeks after your Wall Art Portrait order is completed.
HOW DO WE PAY?
Payment is accepted via Direct Transfer, Cash, Eftpos or Credit Card on the day of your Design Appointment. Your Printed Portrait Collection will be ready approximately 3-4 weeks after your Design Appointment.
*Please note there is a 1.9% Surcharge on all EFT and Credit Card Payments.

Extended Family Portrait Sessions include all of your Family Members and can become part of your Family History forever.

In a time when we can be separated from our family at the drop of a hat, having Portraits of the ones we love, has become the most precious possessions we own. It’s a way to connect with our Family when we can’t always visit them. Our portraits allow us to remember all the fun times that we share with our family and helps us to look forward to sharing those times once again.
Three Hearts Photography offers Grandparent Sessions as well as Extended Family Session for you and your Family.
