Kennedy Family Portrait Session – Three Hearts Photography
It was a windy August afternoon when Lisa, Tony and Miss A arrived at the beach for their Family Portrait Session. I first noticed Lisa’s gorgeous beanie as they appeared from behind the brush of the grass. It was a vibrant mustard colour and it immediately grabbed my eye. It was the perfect addition to their Outfit selection.
We had been chatting on the phone and via email, so I already felt like I knew Lisa and her family. I introduced myself to Miss A and she began to tell me lots of stories about what she likes to do when she comes to the beach. We were soon the best of friends too. 😉
I told Miss A the plan for our Session and we began to take some beautiful Portraits for this lovely family.
We took some Portraits where everyone was looking at the camera, because those are the ones that the Grandparents LOOOOOVE! Then it was time for some fun and games.
They walked along the beach playing and laughing, collecting treasures and seeing jelly fish along the way. It was so nice to capture Lisa, Tony and Miss A spending time together and having fun as a family.
Lisa, Tony and Miss A walked up to the pier and as they stood at the end, they saw some fish swimming in the water.
The water that was a gorgeous turquoise blue and the sand that was golden and bright. It was a gorgeous day on the beach. We had some tickles on the pier with Dad and walked together hand in hand.
We headed back along the beach to find a big stick I had bought along for the Session. Lisa had told me that Miss A loves to Draw so I gave her the stick and it was time to do some sand drawing.
Lisa and Miss A decided to draw around Tony as he laid in the sand and then it was Miss A’s turn. She loved seeing the two shapes laying together, holding hands.
When I asked Lisa what she wanted to capture most from her Family Portrait Session, she told me…
“We’re happy to get wet or stick our feet in the same and water and don’t care about mess. Ava loves mess and jumping in muddy puddles, dancing and drawing or anything creative. I’d love to get some pictures of us just having fun together.”
As we neared the end of their Session, Miss A wanted to take off her shoes and start splashing around in the water. Lisa was right there beside her, but Tony needed just a little nudge, so Lisa and Miss A “encouraged” Tony to join them in the water.
It was a great, fun way to end our time on the beach.
Lisa and Tony loved their Portraits and Memory Keepsake Film, especially as they looked back on the fun they had together during their Session.
Take a look at their Memory Keepsake Film and see how much fun a Portrait Session can be.
